I recently met one of the VectorBuilder product specialist during AAI-2019 meeting at San Diego Convention Center. Her name is Dr. Swati Roy, and she provided me excellent information regarding their products and vector designs. And then, we recently purchased CRISPR Cas9 dual gRNA vector. I have been consistently using VectorBuilder over the last couple of years and have been extremely satisfied with the vectors they've delivered. I have been successfully cloning for 3+ years, but the last time we tried generating KO cell lines with CRISPR/Cas9 vectors, we were not successful. This was upsetting, especially since I invested a lot of time in these efforts. Then, by chance, I attended one of VectorBuilder's seminars. Due to their reasonable prices and the fact I could focus my time on other work, we decided to give their lentiviral (dual gRNA) Cas9 plasmid a try. The turnaround time was reasonable, their customer service was excellent and they actually gave feedback about the status of my cloning projects. Their website is also easy to use. But most importantly: using their Cas9 dual

We applied
CRISPR cas9 nickase in our study. VectorBuilder helped us design the gRNAs and construct plasmids with double gRNAs and double selection markers (EGFP/puromycin). The gRNA specificity is quite good, better than available online design tools. We got the knockout cell lines in the first run of electroporation with no off-target events. I would recommend VectorBuilder to CRISPR cas9 users.Jie Qin

VectorBuilder is an intuitive tool for developing vectors at affordable prices. I was in need of a CRISPR lentiviral system with a Puro selection cassette due to working with delicate cells that cannot handle FACS sorting pressures. With their online interface, it was easy to construct the vector I wanted and received the vector in a timely manner! It was simple to produce virus and test it in our cell culture and generated clonal cells with good gene knockdown. I definitely will be ordering more vectors from VectorBuilder to finish up my thesis!
